Are you taking time for you?
We often don’t, most times we find it easier to look after everyone else than to put ourselves first. We feel like it is wrong or unnatural.
For most of us we have not been taught to look after ourselves. We don’t even know how.
Here are a few tips;
- Take a few minutes before you get out of bed and think about what you are grateful for. Even if it is just that you opened your eyes this morning.
- Get outside, yes even if it is cold. You only need a few minutes to take a few deep breaths of fresh air.
- Drink water, your brain and your body need it.
- Listen to your favorite music.
- Honor how you are feeling, it is ok not to be ok.
